Vala Capital was recognised in two different award categories at last night’s Growth Investor Awards, run by Intelligent Partnership.
Now in their fifth year, the Growth Investor Awards celebrate investment funds that provide the finance and support that help start-ups and small and medium-sized companies to flourish. There were 51 investment providers named as finalists for the awards, who between them have invested £5.67 billion into growing companies.
Vala was named runner-up in the Industry Rising Star Award, which shines a spotlight on growth investment businesses launched within the last two years that have built a solid foundation for future success.
Our EIS investment in Arksen, an innovative marine engineering business, was named as ‘One to Watch’ in the Most Impactful Investment category. The judging panel were looking for investments where the funding has made a clear impact on the company’s growth trajectory.
