PlayWorks is a games development company, focusing on games played through messaging apps such as Facebook Messenger and Snapchat. This market is fairly new, but has massive potential due to the vast numbers of users of the messaging platforms. The Vala EIS Portfolio first invested in PlayWorks in April 2019. The company is using funding to expand its development team, accelerate marketing, and acquire new titles for its library of games.
